7 Facts: Gabriele Corto Moltedo

If you all haven't guessed already, I have a deep passion for all things Corto, and lucky for me Gabriele [Corto Moltedo] was kind enough to fill me (& all of you) in on 7 interesting facts about himself.

I also added some pictures of my own Corto goodies, which are modeled by the beautiful Aboura family (Thank you guys,I know it was hell).

Gabriele Corto Moltedo's 7 Facts:

1-One of your "secret" hobbies.

I love collecting furniture and antiques, especially sunglasses. I have a large sunglasses collection and I love to go to flea markets in all the cities I visit.. That takes up much of my hobby time when im not designing new products.

2-One of the jobs you had before you decided to get into the Fashion industry.

I was working for ABC Network radio in the United States. I always had an idea of working in a radio station. It was a dream that came true, and a dream that came and went. It wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. I find fashion product creation more tangible and lasting.

3-A fear/something that scares you.

I'm scared of nothing except myself.

4-Who you think is the greatest designer of all time.

I dont know about all time, But I do know Yoghi Yamamoto is up there, with Gaultier.

5-One designer you would love to do a collaboration with.

I would have enjoyed a collaboration with McQueen (RIP)

or Valentino.

6-If your life was a movie, what would you call it?

Eat Sex Design

7-If you weren't Italian, what would you be, and why?

Probably I would be from Mexico as I was conceived there...

This year I went 3 times, I really love that country and the people, the food, the music. A huevo!!!!!
